Umbraco

Umbraco is a free open-source content management system (CMS) built upon Microsoft's .NET Framework. It can easily scale from running a small campaign website right through to complex applications for Fortune 500s and some of the largest media sites in the world.

We are an Umbraco certified partner, having achieved the requisite four Umbraco developer certifications by participating in the official Umbraco Training Course.

The CMS includes such features as:

• multi-lingual capability;
• a clean intuitive interface with WYSIWYG text editing;
• and great extensibility.

We particularly like Umbraco as it provides us with complete control over site markup, which means we have no restrictions in appearance or layout as is so often the case with other off-the-shelf packages. It's also really easy for us to utilise our existing .NET knowledge to extend the system, with an enthusiastic and welcoming community of users around the world available to offer guidance and advice.
